DREAM11 EXPERT TEAM : AUSTRALIA vs NEW ZEALAND ( 3rd ODI)

Second match of Chappell Hadlee series between Australia and New Zealand got abandoned because of bad outfield. Both sides were really unhappy with the ground drainage system. Even after 4 hours after the scheduled starting time without any rain intervention, there were puddles of water seen in some important fielding positions on ground. The umpires conducted series of inspection in time span of 4 hours. They found the outfield unfit to play, and abandoned the match.

So with second match washed out, third match of the series had eventually become do or die for both sides. Australia will be looking to draw the series, while New Zealand would be looking to wrap the series with 2-0 score line. New Zealand can still breath a sigh of relief as they are leading the series, but Aaron Finch & Co. have to win the last match to successfully defend there title.

Third match of 3-match Chappell Hadlee series is going to be played at Seddon park, Hamilton. In recent years, Seddon park has favored spinners and will be no different this time around.

New Zealand are currently in the drivers seat after winning thrilling first game. They would like to regain the trophy by winning the penultimate match.

 

Hosts are still not sure of Martin Guptil fitness as he is still recovering from injured finge and is unsure of playing final game. Physio said there is 50-50 chance of his availability, and they will his assess his fitness before match starts. Dean Browlie has stayed with the team as a back up player for Martin Guptil. Host have recalled Ish Sodhi for the third match, as team management may think of fielding with two specialist spinners on a spin friendly wicket. Tom Latham will again keep wickets as it helps team to field an extra batsman.

Australia would have been more disappointed due to washed out match. They would like to win there last game, to retain their title.

 

Aaron Finch will be leading the side with Mathew Wade getting injured at wrong time. This also mean debutante Sam Heazlet will remain in the playing11 along with Peter Handscomb who will be doing duty behind the wickets. Australia would rely on Adam Zampa, Travis Head and Glenn Maxwell for spin bowling.

Captain & Vice Captain : Marcus Stoinis will lead our team and his deputy will be Travis Head. We selected Stoinis as captain purely based on his performance in the first match. Travis Head has bowled well in middle over and always gets one or more wickets. Added benefit is that he also opens the batting and is in a very good knick barring last match performance.

 

Batsman: We have picked Kane Williamson, Tom Latham, Aaron Finch, Niel Broom in our squad. Niel Broom is in good form since Bangladesh series. Kane Williamson will be my crucial player. Tom Latham is picked because Martin Guptil is injured. We have sticked with Aaron Finch as he has a point to prove to team selectors and we think he will play more carefully with added responsibility of captaincy. You can opt for Shaun Marsh instead of Aaron Finch, as he was also in good knick gathering two 50+ scores in Perth Scorchers last matches. Matthew wade is injured and New Zealand wicket keeper Blundell will not play. So zero points for them in tomorrow match. ANY SUGGESTION PLEASE COMMENT BELOW.

Allrounder : Two all rounder are already our captain and vice captain. Along with them we have opted for Mitchell Santner as he is good spinning all rounder and also the fact that ground will suit spinners we have opted for him against Jimmy Neesham. Best choice to replace Santner is Jimmy Neesham who is very handy with bat and bowl, but got thrashed in the first match. ANY SUGGESTION PLEASE COMMENT BELOW.

Bowler: Starc is a world class bowler and no one can replace him. Except that we have selected Trent Boult along with Pat Cummins as he is handy with bat too. You can select Lockie Ferguson instead of Pat Cummins as he is good pace bowler. You can also go with 4 bowlers by selecting both bowlers above and dumping Glenn Maxwell.
