Third ODI like all other previous match turned out to be an one sided affair. Srilanka continued to struggle against South African bowlers nor there was any bowler who was threatning for host batsman. With visitors already losing the series, they have to put some impressive performance to salvage some pride otherwise its going to be an another clean sweep faced by them.

Third match started well for visitors,as there captain Upul Tharanga decided to open innings with Niroshan Dickwella. They gave very good platform for upcoming batsman to post a par score for there side. But after Tharanga go out, visitors middle order crumbled under pressure. Niroshan Dickwella was losing partners at other end and so was not able to stitch any partnerships. Soon after he got out on 74, Srilanka side got bowled in 40 overs with posting163 as target. Target was always a below par score, and with strong batting line-up host posses it was always going to be an easy run chase. South Africa were jolted at start of the innings as their opener Quinton De Kock got bowled out very early. Than came hosts man in form Duplessis, but he thrown his wicket away after getting decent start, soon Amla too followed him. But with the captain AB devillers around, visitors was never going to win the match. He completed his half century and won the match along with Jp Duminy.

Fourth match is a day night event and is going to be played in Newlands, Cape Town on Feb 7.

Expert Views
Captain & Vice Captain: So in our expert team we have selected ABD as captain and for Vice Capitan we have chosen Duplessis, you can go with anyone according to your views. We chose Duplessis because he is in good form in this series. Along with him ABD because he is looking in knick and have found his mojo back. ANY SUGGESTION PLEASE COMMENT BELOW.

Batsman: De Kock, Amla, Dickwella, Tharanga are in my squad. South African batsmans have shown glimpses of good form. Both Srilankan batsman played well in last match and will be very positive while approaching batting next time.ANY SUGGESTION PLEASE COMMENT BELOW.

Allrounder: Southafrican Duminy, Pretorius are selected because Duminy is a good all round option along with him we have selected new comer Pretorius as he picked three in last match. ANY SUGGESTION PLEASE COMMENT BELOW.

Bowlers: In bowlers we have gone with 1 spinners and 2pacer combo. Prassana, he wi’ll be handy with ball and bat both. Out of two fast bowler one is Suranga Lakmal, who bowled really good line and length in previous match. Other than that I have taken Kagiso Rabada. ANY SUGGESTION PLEASE COMMENT BELOW.

Note: Please review the team once more before the start of the match, to get notified of any changes due to injury.

  1. Hi Nikhil as you mentioned SA could make changes to Team by resting Few and giving chances to Bench Players can you give more details of who could be rested and who have chances of coming in

  2. See I think tabraiz shamsi haven't got chance. Rest all have got chance. In 3rd ODI two players were playing first match of the series like Farhan Behradien,D Petretious.
Miller is injured and I don't know wether they Parnell was injured or rested. They can rest Andile Phehlukwayo to make place for shamsi.
