DREAM11 TEAM : AUSTRALIA vs NEW ZEALAND ( 2nd ODI )

First match of Chappell Hadlee series between Australia and New Zealand turned out to be very interesting match. After getting top order of Australia cheaply, it seemed that history will repeat itself with home side winning on there own backyard. Australia came into the match from no were, and nearly pulled of a miracle run chase.
Both teams didn’t start there innings that well with both of them losing their wickets pretty quickly. New Zealand were half down at mere score of 150, but good batting display by their lower order batsman Niel Broom and Jimmy Neesham took them close to a par score. On other hand Australian side lost half of their side with 70 odd score on board. But late resurgence by Marcus Stoinis kept them alive in the match till last wicket fall. Stoinis will be really disappointed as win was so close of Australia reach but they didn’t managed to cross the line as their last wicket batsman at other end got run out, with just 6 runs remaining from 3 overs.
Second match of 3 match Chappell Hadlee series is going to be played at McLean park Napier. Little bit of rain is predicted by the weather forecast. Napier will again be suitable for pace bowling, but batsman will find it relatively easy to score here from the previous match.
Team News

New Zealand
New Zealand would have breath a sigh of relief after winning there previous match. With one up in the series, they would like to win the series tomorrow and gain Chappell Hadlee trophy back.

Home side have a major injury issue, as their star opener Martin Guptil has pulled his hamstrings and is out of the series. Dean Browlie will be his replacement who last made his presence in international match nearly 2 years ago but he is expected to take field tomorrow. Tom Latham will again keep wickets as it helps team to field an extra batsman.
So now Kane Williamson the captain will be under great pressure. Team management would want him to play most of the 50 overs. Along with him experience lads like Ross Taylor and Tom Latham should also play with some responsibility to seal the series win tomorrow. Trent Boult and Lockie Ferguson would also like to repeat there performance from previous game.
New Zealand Predicted XI

Tom Latham (wk), Dean Brownlie, Kane Williamson (c), Ross Taylor, Neil Broom, Colin Munro, James Neesham, Mitchell Santner, Tim Southee, Lockie Ferguson, Trent Boult.

Key Players : Kane Williamson, Niel Broom, Lockie Ferguson
Australia
Australian found one positive in their first match loss i.e Marcus Stoinis performance both with bat and ball, who single handedly could have won them their first match. But visitors would have to forget what has happened in previous game and have to come with their A game to square the series.

Mathew Wade have to wait for his captaincy debut, as he got injured before the match and is out of the series and so Aaron Finch will lead the visitors in this series. This also mean debutant Sam Heazlet will remain in the playing11 along with Peter Handscomb who will be doing duty behind the wickets.
Australia Predicted XI

Aaron Finch(c), Shaun Marsh, Peter Handscomb(wk), Travis Head, Glenn Maxwell, James Faulkner, Marcus Stoinis, Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins, Adam Zampa, Josh Hazlewood.

Expert Views
Captain & Vice Captain : Marcus Stoinis will lead our team and his deputy will be Travis Head. We selected Stoinis as captain purely based on his performance in the first match. Travis Head has bowled well in middle over and always gets one or more wickets. Added benefit is that he also opens the batting and is in a very good knick barring last match performance.

Batsman: We have picked Kane Williamson, Tom Latham, Aaron Finch, Niel Broom in our squad. Niel Broom is in good form since Bangladesh series. Kane Williamson will be my crucial player. Tom Latham is picked because Martin Guptil is injured. We have sticked with Aaron Finch as he has a point to prove to team selectors and we think he will play more carefully with added responsibility of captaincy. If you want you can opt for Shaun Marsh instead of Aaron Finch, as he was also in good knick gathering two 50+ scores in Perth Scorchers last matches. Matthew wade is injured and New Zealand wicket keeper Blundell will not play. So zero points for them in tomorrow match. ANY SUGGESTION PLEASE COMMENT BELOW.

Allrounder : Two all rounder are already our captain and vice captain. Along with them we have opted for James Neesham too provide some balance in the middle order. If you want to choose another bankable player than Best choice to replace Neesham in your team can be Mitchell Santner who is very handy with bat and bowl, also got 3 wickets in previous match. ANY SUGGESTION PLEASE COMMENT BELOW.

Bowler: Starc is a world class bowler and no one can replace him. Except that we have selected Trent Boult along with Pat Cummins as he is handy with bat too. You can select Lockie Ferguson instead of Pat Cummins as he is good pace bowler. You can also go with 4 bowlers by selecting both bowlers above and dumping Glenn Maxwell. ANY SUGGESTION PLEASE COMMENT BELOW.
Note:

Please review the team once more before the start of the match, to get notified of any changes due to injury.

  1. Yes he is injured and out of the series. DREAM11 have two options in wicket keeper. New Zealand wicket Blundell will not play too.

Tom Latham will keep for NZ and for Australia Handscomb will keep wickets
